Phonics Rhyming Bee Free
Phonics Rhyme Sorting Free is a fun app
for learning to recognize rhyming words, and sort them by sound. A bee carries a heart with a word on it,
and your child selects which of two flowerpots has a word that rhymes. The bee then carries the heart to the
flower, and if correct, a new petal is added to the flower. After each group of rhyming words is
completed, the animated flower will review the words.
There are 28 different rhyming groups
with a total of 168 short vowel sound words in the app.
The game uses the Montessori Method for
children to learn the phonics and pronunciation. It develops the child's listening and
pronunciation of the words. It is
ideal for self-paced learning or home schooling. You should encourage your child to work at
his or her own pace, and make learning fun!

ABC Phonics Long Vowel Words Free
A fun game for young children to learn and practice
phonics by piloting a spaceship and shooting at planets to identify each word. PhonicsTwo is for children ready to learn
the long vowel sounds. The words all
have long vowel sounds.
Beginning readers should start with PhonicsOne, which
teaches short vowel sounds. More advanced
children should try PhonicsThree, with long vowel sounds and double vowels.
By
identifying words, this game helps children recognize common word patterns,
and understand how the initial consonant, middle vowels, and ending consonant
affect pronunciation. These are all
important stepping-stones to becoming a proficient reader.

Phonic Phil- Free
Turn the dials and touch a nose to put
you in control of Phonic Phil. Each
side of Phonic Phil's smile contains individual word segments that can be
heard by touching each ear. Change the
position of either dial and a new word can be formed!
To hear completed words, simply touch
Phonic Phil's bow tie. If a nonsense
word is formed, the individual word sounds will be played instead. Over 250 words can be formed with Phonic
Phil. Even though Phonic Phil is a
robot, he uses a studio quality voice that is easy to understand.

This is a word family and rhyming game
to help your child learn to recognize words by letter patterns. Learning groups of words that have similar
letter patterns (such as back, pack, snack, crack or deep, keep, sheep,
sleep, etc.) is an efficient strategy to help your child improve their
reading skills and decode new words from letter patterns. All of the app’s 206 words are grouped by
Short Vowel, Long Vowel, Bossy R's and other Vowel Team words, which are 12
groups of words (such as an, at, eath, ide, ard, irt, own, ood, etc.). In levels 1 to 4, it is the word family
game. Your child will learn beginning
sounds and rhymes of the words in the same family (i.e, Make the word
"best", then change "best" to "nest", or change
"nest" to "west") or different family (i.e, Make the word
"thin", then change "thin" to "thick", or
change "thick" to "thank"). They have to find the missing beginning
sound or rhyme sound in the word and then change some parts of the word to
make the new one. Each correct word in
a set will add ingredients to a pizza to feed Howie. He is very hungry, so try to make correct
words as many as you can! The final
level is a rhyming word game. Your
child will have to find the rhyming word to make Howie's pizza (i.e., Find 2
words that rhyme with "heat").
